The 2nd China (Xiamen) West Strait Tea Expo will be held grandly from June 29 to July 1 at the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center. Organized by the Fujian Provincial Tea Society and the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the expo is jointly hosted by the Xiamen Tea Association, Anxi County Tea Association, Xiamen Food Association, and other prominent organizations.
Notably, the opening ceremony will also feature the launch of the film project "Cross-Strait Tea Connection, Student Bonds," as well as the inaugural event of the "Cross-Strait Purple Clay Teapot Exchange and Research Forum."
This year’s West Strait Tea Expo is themed "Ecology, Health, and Taste," aiming to establish itself as a nationally recognized, highly professional, culturally rich, and commercially vibrant platform for the tea industry along the western coast of the Taiwan Strait.

Just last week, Haizu’s *Tea Weekly* received a sample of old white tea from Shanghai, reportedly aged around 50 years. However, after careful evaluation by seasoned tea enthusiasts, it was determined to be a "man-made imitation." Interestingly, such counterfeit aged white teas are surprisingly common in China’s nascent white tea collecting market, where aspiring collectors are increasingly drawn in.
