It’s widely believed that white tea gets better with age. In 1982, a sample of Fuding white tea—recognized as a nationally renowned tea—was submitted for evaluation. After 28 years, the same tea made a remarkable reappearance on September 16 at the "Hundred Journalists Discuss White Tea: 2010 Fuding White Tea Mid-Autumn Tea Tasting Event," held in Sanfang Qixiang, Fuzhou. Held in the hands of Chen Jinshui, our province’s esteemed tea expert and the tea sample’s owner, the reporter observed that the Fuding white tea, carefully sealed in a glass bottle with wax, still boasted its signature silvery-white downy appearance.
