As the world's largest trade fair dedicated to agriculture, food, and horticulture, this year's event has drawn 1,658 exhibitors from 68 countries and regions worldwide. Organizers expect the fair to welcome over 400,000 visitors.
First held in 1926 as a regional commodity fair, the Berlin International Green Week has since grown into a globally recognized agricultural expo. This year’s edition will run for 10 days, concluding on January 25.
According to data released by the organizers, this year’s Green Week not only boasts the highest number of exhibitors in 44 years—reaching 1,658—but also features an impressive exhibition space spanning 130,000 square meters.
