BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) — The 80th Berlin International Green Week kicked off today, January 16, in Berlin, according to reporter Guo Yang. As the world's largest trade fair dedicated to agriculture, food, and horticulture, this year's event has drawn 1,658 exhibitors from 68 countries and regions worldwide. Organizers expect the fair to welcome more than 400,000 visitors over its 10-day run. First held in 1926 as a regional trade fair focused on local products, the Berlin International Green Week has since grown into a globally recognized agricultural expo. This year's edition will conclude on January 25 after a 10-day showcase of innovations and trends shaping the future of farming and food production.
According to data released by the organizers, this year's Green Week not only attracted the largest number of exhibitors in 44 years but also set a record with its 130,000-square-meter exhibition space.

It is reported that German exhibitors, benefiting from their home-field advantage, account for 60% of the show, creating a "German Street" that showcases Germany’s regional cuisine and culture. Among the participants, official booths have been set up by 27 countries. From beer and honey to cheese and game meats, this year’s Green Week features Latvia—the event’s partner country—introducing Baltic Sea-inspired culinary delights that delight both the eyes and the palate. Meanwhile, China’s delegation has drawn crowds with its array of specialty agricultural products, including tea and goji berries, alongside captivating tea-art performances. Notably, Fujian Fuding Southeast White Tea Import & Export Co., Ltd. participated in the exhibition, and its white tea products were officially selected as part of the Chinese delegation’s showcase at the 80th Berlin International Green Week.

Southeast Company boasts a modern tea-processing facility spanning 4,800 square meters and has established a demonstration base for tea production covering over 4,000 mu of land.
