Recently, a national-level training workshop on the intangible cultural heritage—Fuding White Tea Production Techniques—was held in Bailiu Village, Diandou Town. The event was jointly organized by the Fuding City Tea Association and the City Bureau of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, with the Bailiu Tea Cooperative of Diandou Town serving as the host. Over 60 participants attended, including representatives from key tea enterprises in Fuding City, as well as prominent tea growers from Bailiu Village in Diandou Town and neighboring villages such as Wengxi and Guojian.
It is understood that this training event is the second session of the Fuding White Tea Production Skills Inheritance Workshop, jointly organized by the Fuding City Tea Association and the City Bureau of Culture, Sports, and New Media in Bailiu Village. Elder Mei Xiangjing, a national-level inheritor of the traditional craftsmanship category under the National Intangible Cultural Heritage program, wholeheartedly imparted the ancient white tea production techniques. This allows more tea industry experts and tea farmers to fully understand the traditional production skills of Fuding white tea, as well as its unique regional characteristics, natural craftsmanship, and distinctive effects, while ensuring the inheritance of the nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage of Fuding white tea traditional production techniques.
