On April 9, the results of the 2013 China Tea Regional Public Brand Value Assessment were unveiled in Xinchang County, Zhejiang Province. Fuding White Tea proudly secured the sixth spot among the "Top 10 Chinese Tea Regional Public Brands of 2013." According to the assessment, Fuding White Tea’s public brand value reached 2.693 billion yuan in 2013. Since 2010, Fuding White Tea has consistently ranked among the top 10 in the national tea regional public brand value assessments for four consecutive years. From 2010 to 2012, its public brand value was evaluated at 2.256 billion, 2.445 billion, and 2.534 billion yuan, respectively, marking an average annual growth rate of 6.1% over the past four years.
Since 2010, the China Tea Regional Public Brand Value Assessment Team—jointly established by Zhejiang University’s CARD China Agricultural Brand Research Center and other organizations—has been continuously tracking and systematically quantifying influential tea regional public brands across the country. The team publishes the "Brand Value Assessment Report" and the "Brand Value Ranking," which have now become the annual benchmark for China’s tea regional public brand development and a key measure of the annual achievements in building these brands nationwide.
It is reported that this brand value assessment, which began in December 2012 and took four months to complete, used 203 regional public tea brands from across the country as its survey sample. Among these, 106 regional public tea brands were selected for in-depth analysis. Through consumer sampling surveys, literature reviews, and expert evaluations, the final assessment identified the top 10 regional public tea brands in China for 2013. The winners of the "Top 10 Chinese Regional Public Tea Brands by Value in 2013" are: West Lake Longjing, Anxi Tieguanyin, Pu'er Tea, Xinyang Maojian, Dongting Mountain Biluochun, Fuding White Tea, Dafu Longjing, Anji White Tea, Qimen Black Tea, and Fuzhou Jasmine Tea.
