China Net – Binhai Hi-Tech News: The Fuding Branch of the Tianjin Fujian Chamber of Commerce was officially established recently, holding its inaugural inauguration ceremony. The chamber comprises 386 member companies, including Fujian-native investors and distributors based in Tianjin, as well as several outstanding entrepreneurs from outside Fuding.
Members of the association are involved in diverse sectors including tea, stone materials, construction products, auto parts, electronics, catering, and daily necessities, with annual sales reaching 520 million yuan. Among these, Fuding white tea stands out as their most distinctive and core product. With a long history and exceptional quality, Fuding white tea is the only variety among China’s six major tea categories that follows the oldest, most natural, and uniquely traditional production method—“no frying, no rolling, natural withering.” As early as the Western Han Dynasty, Fujian merchants exported Fuding white tea to countries across Europe and Asia via Quanzhou Port, the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road. Many members of the association even own their own tea estates in Fuding City, the very birthplace of white tea.
