On the 20th, the "Fuding White Tea: Healthy China Tour" will hold its grand launch ceremony at the Beijing Exhibition Hall, followed by a series of events at the Beijing stop, including Fuding White Tea brand promotions, discussions on health and wellness, and the China Beijing Fuding Tea Business Conference.
Reportedly, the "Fuding White Tea: Healthy China Tour" is a new round of promotional activities aimed at bringing Fuding white tea from its production areas directly to consumer markets, following the successful run of the Fuding (China) White Tea Culture Festival (2004–2010). Over the next 35 years, the initiative will focus on provincial capitals or key secondary hub cities—areas known for their vibrant cultural scenes, robust trade and economic growth, high-end consumption patterns, and strong regional influence—to highlight and showcase the unique cultural appeal of Fuding white tea.
As the birthplace of China's white tea, Fuding white tea boasts three unique characteristics: its regional exclusivity, naturally crafted production methods, and distinctive health benefits. It offers remarkable "three resistances and three reductions" effects—protecting against radiation, combating oxidative stress, inhibiting tumor growth, lowering blood pressure, reducing blood sugar levels, and controlling lipid levels. Moreover, experts have identified seven additional wellness benefits of Fuding white tea: enhancing skin radiance and promoting a healthy complexion, nourishing eyesight, supporting liver health, nurturing heart function, calming the mind, replenishing vital energy, and boosting the body’s immune system. Renowned in the industry as the most authentic, natural, and healthful tea variety, Fuding white tea is proudly celebrated with the saying, "World white tea originates in China, and Chinese white tea thrives in Fuding." As one of only four national pilot counties selected for implementing a tea quality traceability system—and the sole one in Fujian Province—Fuding consistently prioritizes health and sustainability, making them unwavering in their commitment to producing green, eco-friendly tea.
In recent years, Fuding White Tea has successively earned the National Geographical Indication Certification Trademark, the China Well-Known Trademark, and was included in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage for Protection. It has also ranked among the top 10 Chinese tea brands by regional public value for four consecutive years and was named by the Ministry of Agriculture as the "Consumer-Favorite Regional Public Brand of Chinese Agricultural Products" in 2011.
