Yesterday afternoon, the Academician Chen Zongmao Workstation of Anxi Tieguanyin Group held its unveiling ceremony. Moving forward, Anxi Tieguanyin Group will provide the workstation's expert team with resources such as project implementation sites, facilities, manpower, and production materials, while also accelerating the commercialization and widespread adoption of proven technologies. In turn, the academician and expert team will oversee technical R&D guidance and conduct essential experimental research, among other scientific endeavors.
Chen Zongmao, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor at the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and a renowned tea expert, expressed his hope that collaborating with Anxi Tieguanyin Group through their jointly established workstation platform will further drive innovation in tea technology, facilitate the commercialization of research findings, and ultimately position Anxi Tieguanyin Group as a national benchmark for standardized tea production—while also guiding the broader tea industry to elevate its scientific and technological capabilities.

In May 2013, spearheaded by the group, Anxi Tieguanyin joined forces with prestigious institutions such as Zhejiang University, the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Anhui Agricultural University, and Jiangsu University to apply for a project under the National High-Tech Research and Development Program—commonly known as the "863 Program"—titled "Research on Tea Quality Safety and Rapid Detection Technologies and Equipment."
