On the very first day of 2012, the Straits Tea Industry Exchange Association, the China Tea Professionals Alliance Fujian Tea Enclave, and the Zhang Tianfu Tea Development Foundation of Fujian jointly hosted the 2012 Fujian Tea Community New Year Tea Gathering.
On the morning of January 1, the Lingbo Hall at Fuzhou Xihu Hotel buzzed with lively chatter and the fragrant aroma of tea as distinguished guests gathered for the 2012 New Year Tea Gathering. Prominent figures from the tea industry, including tea master Zhang Tianfu, senior advisors, honorary and current presidents, vice presidents, executive directors, directors, leaders from relevant government departments, and representatives from various media outlets—around 300 people in total—came together to savor exquisite teas and share insights about all things tea-related.
The tea gathering lasted nearly three hours, during which the organizers not only prepared a delightful array of Fujian’s renowned teas and assorted refreshments for guests on-site but also presented a vibrant cultural performance featuring choir singing, solo acts, dance routines, poetry recitations, and even an exciting lottery draw. To top it off, there were multiple rounds of thrilling prize giveaways—offering generous rewards such as premium teas, exquisite calligraphy and paintings, and even cutting-edge iPhone smartphones!
