On March 10, the inaugural Guangdong Province Fuding Tea Traders Convention was held at the Southern Tea Market in Guangzhou. Officially launched during the event was the Fuding White Tea Culture Guangzhou Promotion Headquarters, operated by the Guangdong Fujian Fuding Chamber of Commerce under the authorization of the Fuding City Tea Industry Development Leading Group. Over 300 tea merchants from Fuding came together to showcase and promote Fuding white tea to international buyers and businesses across the Pearl River Delta region. According to reports, in recent years, the Guangdong Fujian Fuding Chamber of Commerce has actively organized Fuding-based tea companies to jointly exhibit and sell their premium white teas, introducing Fuding’s pesticide-free, eco-friendly, and organic teas—as well as related tea products, raw material bases, processing facilities, and marketing enterprises—to audiences in Guangzhou and throughout the Pearl River Delta.

　　It is understood that in recent years, the Guangdong Fujian Fuding Chamber of Commerce has actively organized Fuding tea enterprises to showcase and sell Fuding white tea, promoting the city’s pollution-free, green, organic teas—as well as tea-processing products, raw material bases, processing companies, and marketing enterprises—across Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta region. Currently, over 300 professionals in the tea industry from Fuding operate in the Pearl River Delta, running more than 300 tea distribution stores. Their annual sales have reached 1.5 billion yuan, contributing nearly 100 million yuan in taxes and fees. Additionally, Fuding has seen over 60,000 mu of tea-growing land returned to the city for building tea production bases, directly supporting nearly 100,000 local farmers in cultivating tea. Notably, several Fuding-based companies, such as Fujian (Guangzhou) Yuda Tea Industry Co., Ltd. and Fuding (Guangzhou) Guangfu Tea Industry Co., Ltd., have emerged as top 100 Chinese tea enterprises with annual revenues exceeding 100 million yuan, as well as being recognized as provincial-level leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization.
