From May 21 to 24, the Fuding White Tea Cultivation National Agricultural Standardization Demonstration Zone welcomed a national-level inspection and successfully passed the assessment with a high score of 97.5, earning Ningde City another prestigious national-level recognition for its white tea industry.
The Fuding White Tea Cultivation Standardization Demonstration Zone was established in 2010. After three years of development, the demonstration area has expanded from its original 400 acres to over 3,000 acres. By implementing relevant agricultural standards and establishing a product quality traceability system, the demonstration base has not only boosted per-acre yields but also ensured the safety and quality of white tea. Specifically, the base achieved a yield of 83.2 pounds per acre—representing a 14.7% increase compared to before the project began—and produced a total of 99.8 tons of white tea, generating an output value of 34.23 million yuan—up by 59.6% from pre-demonstration levels.
