On the 11th, reporters learned that our province has, for the first time, introduced the "Trial Evaluation Criteria for the Qualifications of Senior Tea-Making Engineers in Fujian Province," opening up opportunities for tea-making engineering professionals to qualify as senior engineers. According to the guidelines, applicants must be tea-making engineering technicians currently working in tea production, processing, or related fields within the province and must not have reached the statutory retirement age. Additionally, they must meet one of the following educational or professional requirements: - Hold a doctoral degree and have at least 2 years of experience in tea-making technical roles; - Hold a master’s degree and have at least 8 years of experience in tea-making technical work, or have held the title of Tea-Making Engineer for 4 years or more; - Have completed a bachelor’s degree program and possess at least 11 years of experience in tea-making technical roles, or have earned the title of Tea-Making Engineer after 5 years or more; - Have graduated from a junior college program and have accumulated at least 15 years of experience in tea-making technical roles, or have held the title of Tea-Making Engineer for 5 years or more. Beyond academic qualifications and professional experience, this evaluation process places significant emphasis on candidates' practical expertise and real-world performance. In addition to meeting the aforementioned educational and career criteria, applicants are also expected to demonstrate relevant work history, competencies, and tangible achievements. Notably, all application materials submitted by candidates will be publicly disclosed. Any individual found engaging in fraudulent activities—such as falsifying research results, fabricating achievements, forging academic credentials or professional qualifications, or submitting plagiarized papers (including technical work summaries)—will face severe consequences. These individuals will not only receive public criticism but will also be barred from reapplying for two years. Moreover, if they have already been awarded the title, their appointment will be revoked immediately.
