Product Details

Oolong tea, also known as "green tea," is crafted through a semi-fermentation process that results in leaves with green centers and red edges. Originating in Fujian, oolong tea boasts a history spanning over 1,000 years. Combining elements of both green and black tea production methods, it inherits the rich, robust flavors of black tea while retaining the delicate, fragrant notes of green tea. After sipping, it leaves a lingering aroma between your teeth and cheeks, followed by a sweet, fresh aftertaste. Its color ranges from deep greenish-brown to amber, with a bright yellow liquor, often accompanied by a captivating floral fragrance.

Tieguanyin: A premium variety among Fujian oolong teas, named for its heavy, iron-like body and graceful, Guanyin-inspired appearance. The dry tea leaves are tightly curled into distinct shapes—some resemble scales, while others look like delicate dragonfly heads. As the caffeine content evaporates along with moisture during drying, a natural white "frost" forms on the surface, earning it the nickname "Shagreen Frost." When brewed, it releases an exquisitely fragrant aroma that fills the air. Savoring it hot, sip by sip, reveals a rich, floral fragrance that lingers delightfully on the palate, leaving a sweet, lingering aftertaste deep in the throat—a testament to its remarkable ability to retain its exquisite flavor even after seven infusions.
