This year's May Day was truly sunny and perfect for outdoor adventures. Company Chairman Zhang Zhengku, accompanied by his wife, visited the Zhangzhou military unit—where he last served decades ago—to once again relive cherished memories and reconnect with the place that holds a special corner in his heart from his younger days. After three decades apart, stepping back onto this familiar ground felt incredibly warm and nostalgic. The veterans of yesteryear have now become respected senior officials, while wave after wave of new recruits have joined the ranks. Meanwhile, the unit itself has undergone remarkable transformations over the years.
Director Zhang received a warm welcome from the company’s platoon leader and instructor, and happily presented them with the company’s finest white tea. After tasting our white tea, the platoon leader couldn’t stop praising it, saying, “Great tea! Wonderful tea!” A wave of warmth instantly melted into everyone’s hearts.
Although he lived there for three years, Chairman Zhang said that returning this time felt like going back to his hometown—every little detail and cherished memory of his past life there often brings a wave of nostalgia.
