On the 16th, the three-day 4th Cross-Strait Tea Industry Expo grandly opened in Wuyishan, a World Natural and Cultural Heritage site. Chen Hui, Deputy Mayor of Fuding City, led 13 key tea enterprises including Fujian Pinpinxiang, Tianfengyuan, Tianhao, Duoqi, and Southeast White Tea to participate in a series of activities integrating tea exhibitions, trade, culture, and tourism, comprehensively showcasing Fuding white tea products, fully exchanging tea industry development experiences, and jointly promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the tea industry across the Taiwan Strait.

　　Starting from this session, the Tea Expo officially settled in Wuyishan. This Tea Expo highlights quality and safety, cross-strait exchanges, market transactions, and industry linkage, setting up 1,055 standard booths and inviting nearly 600 participating enterprises, including more than 100 from Taiwan, as well as over 1,000 buyers, and organizing more than 30,000 visitors to enter the venue. During the Tea Expo, more than ten events were launched, including the Wuyishan Tea Festival Nine-Bend Parade, Happy Tea City, the 4th Wuyishan International Zen Tea Culture Festival, retracing the Jin merchants' ten-thousand-li tea road, and the Cross-Strait Tea Brand International Marketing Summit Forum.

　　At this Tea Expo, teas, tea sets, tea snacks, tea songs, tea dances, and tea art performances from various places shone brilliantly, especially Fuding white tea, which was highly sought after by the industry and tourists, making the "Ningde Pavilion Fuding White Tea Exhibition Area" one of the most popular exhibition areas. During the Tea Expo, Fuding white tea, which had just returned with honors from the 2010 World Expo Top Ten Famous Teas series of events, was doubly celebrated, pushing the fame of Fuding white tea to a new historical high.

　　The "Fuding White Tea Exhibition Area," as an important part of the Ningde Pavilion at the Tea Expo, covers more than 200 square meters. Eight tea enterprises including Fujian Tianfengyuan jointly exhibited, while Fujian Pinpinxiang, Tianhu Tea Industry, and Yuda Tea Industry set up independent pavilions. Fuding Fangming Tea Industry and Tianhao Tea Industry were also selected for the "Fujian Rural Young Farmers Prosperity Project" pavilion, setting a new record for Fuding tea enterprises participating in provincial tea exhibitions. Meanwhile, more than 20 major tea-producing regions' governments and representatives of tea merchants from six main sales areas nationwide organized a quality and safety alliance, launching the China Tea Industry "Safety, Quality, Integrity" Alliance Declaration. Chen Hui, Deputy Mayor of Fuding City, signed an intergovernmental market quality supervision cooperation agreement on behalf of the Fuding Municipal Government: the "China Tea Industry Safety, Quality, Integrity Alliance Declaration."

　　At the signing ceremony of the 4th Cross-Strait Tea Industry Expo held here, 60 projects highlighting cross-strait economic and trade cooperation and the domestic and foreign sales achievements of Fujian tea participated in signing, with a total investment amount of 3 billion RMB, demonstrating the broad prospects for cooperation in the tea industry across the Taiwan Strait. A purchasing group composed of more than 100 Beijing tea merchants from Fuding became the "stars" sought after by media and producers. Notably, Fujian Pinpinxiang Tea Co., Ltd. signed a "Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Jointly Build the 'Pinpinxiang' Brand White Tea and Jasmine Tea as China's Number One Tea Brand" with Hong Kong China Tea Holdings Limited, becoming the most dazzling highlight of the Tea Expo. Additionally, Fujian Tianhu Tea Industry Co., Ltd. signed a procurement agreement worth 50 million RMB with Wuyishan Mingfu Rock Tea Factory.

　　According to the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Jointly Build the 'Pinpinxiang' Brand White Tea and Jasmine Tea as China's Number One Tea Brand," within the next three years, Hong Kong China Tea Holdings Limited will provide 200 million Hong Kong dollars to support Fujian Pinpinxiang Tea Co., Ltd. in expanding production capacity, improving product quality, increasing brand promotion efforts, and expanding business channels, striving to establish more than 200 chain stores within two years to grow and strengthen the 'Pinpinxiang' company.

　　□ "Top Ten Tea News in Fujian" Selection Announced, Fuding Wins the Most Awards

　　During the 4th Cross-Strait Tea Industry Expo, the "2010 Top Ten Tea News in Fujian" selection was announced, hosted by the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association and Fujian Agricultural Society, co-organized by "Fujian Tea," "Tea Fate," "Strait Tea Road," and "China Cooperative Times·Tea Weekly," and undertaken by "New Cooperation" magazine. Fuding City was honored as one of the "Top Ten Tea-Producing Counties in Fujian Province," with the Cross-Strait Tea Industry Exchange Association president Zhang Jiakun awarding the plaque to Fuding City, and Deputy Mayor Chen Hui receiving it. Additionally, Diantou Town was honored as one of the "Top Ten Star Tea-Producing Townships in Fujian," and four Fuding tea enterprises—Fujian Pinpinxiang Tea Co., Ltd., Yuda Tea Industry, Tianhao Tea Industry, and Green Leaf Co., Ltd.—were honored as "Top Ten Tea Enterprises in Fujian." Lin Jian, chairman of Fujian Pinpinxiang Tea Co., Ltd., was elected as one of the "Top Ten Tea Figures in Fujian."
