On September 28, 2014, the 4th Ningde World Geopark Cultural and Tourism Festival, along with the 9th Taibao Mountain Cultural and Tourism Festival—hosted by the Fujian Provincial Tourism Bureau and the Ningde Municipal People’s Government, and organized by the Fuding Municipal People’s Government—officially kicked off with great fanfare at Fuding Jiangbin Park! This year’s cultural and tourism festival will adhere to the principles of "frugality with grandeur, rich content, appropriate scale, nationwide participation, distinctive features, practical effectiveness, and stringent safety measures." Building on the successes of previous events, the festival will thoughtfully integrate elements such as local culture, delectable street food, and Fuding white tea, while introducing innovative activities that emphasize real-world impact.
